The Christadelphians are a worldwide community established 150 years ago. The name was adopted in the mid 1800s meaning "Brothers and Sisters in Christ". Christadelphians can be found all over the world, bound together by a common faith in the Gospel preached by Jesus Christ and his Apostles in the 1st Century. We meet in our individual 'Ecclesia's', another name meaning Churches'.
The Christadelphian faith is based squarely and solely on the Bible as the inspired word of God and we allow the teachings within it to govern our lives. Christadelphians do not believe that any of their members, past or present, has received any special direct revelation from God. Basing our beliefs on the whole Bible, we believe that God wants everyone to:
Jesus told his disciples to tell everyone about him and the Gospel, (Good News), of God's coming kingdom on earth, and the way all of us can be part of it. As his followers today, we believe that this is our responsibility now.
You may have particular questions or personal views and wonder how the Gospel relates to these.
